Tea dirt can be harmful to health, teach you to easily remove the tea dirt in the cup

Now many people like to drink tea, like to drink a cup of warm tea in the cool morning to give a beautiful start to the coming day. Whether it is a ceramic, glass or enamel ware tea cup, used once or twice, there will be eye-catching tea stains in the cup, but over time, it has become the biggest defect that destroys the good atmosphere. What can I do to get rid of these annoying marks? Let's have a look.

Tea scale is produced by oxidation of tea polyphenols

The main component of tea scale is tea polyphenols, and a small amount of metal ions also participate in the formation of tea scale. Because green tea has more polyphenols, it is easier to form scale, while black tea and black tea after deep fermentation will have less scale.

Of course, the components of tea scale formed by different types of tea are basically similar. Tea scale is a polymer produced by oxidation of tea polyphenols in air, so it is mainly formed near the water line and attached to the inner wall of the container.

The results showed that the molecular weight of the polymer in the tea scale increased gradually with the extension of time, which meant that the polymerization of polyphenols was still slow. Therefore, it makes sense that the longer the tea stain is, the more difficult it is to remove it.

Heavy metals are not the main metal elements in tea scale

The surface of overnight tea soup often has a layer of metallic luster "oil film", which makes people mistakenly think that there is some heavy metal in it.

In fact, element analysis shows that most of the components of tea scale are carbon and oxygen, which come from polyphenol polymers, and a small amount of potassium, calcium, magnesium, aluminum, zinc, selenium and other elements. The metal elements mainly exist in the form of water-insoluble carbonate or hydroxide, and calcium is the main promoting factor for the formation of tea scale, which mainly comes from the water making tea.

Lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury and other heavy metal pollutants are not the main metal elements of tea scale, so you don't have to worry when drinking tea.

Easy to remove tea stains from the cup

1. Use salt

First clean the thermos cup with clean water, and then spread salt on the place where there is tea stain, gently rub it for several times, and soon the tea stain will disappear. Or brush every part of the cup carefully with a little salt. Then rinse it with water again, and the thermos cup will return to its original brightness. This method is not only suitable for thermos cups, but also suitable for some difficult to clean stains of all appliances.

2. With white vinegar

Tea scale belongs to the alkaline thing, so we add a little acidic white vinegar to neutralize it, add appropriate amount of warm water in the thermos cup, and then add the appropriate amount of white vinegar, put it still, and after 1-2 hours, wash it with water.

3. Use lemon slices

Lemon slices can easily wipe out the tea stains inside the thermos cup, and then rinse with water.

4. Use toothpaste

First, wet the cup with water, then squeeze a little toothpaste into the heat preservation cup, soak for a while, and then use a clean cloth to wipe it off.

5. Use eggshells

Crush the eggshell, put it into the heat preservation cup to be cleaned, then press the broken eggshell with a rag to scrub the cup, and then rinse it with water, which can also clean the thermos cup.

6. Use bleach

Dilute it with kitchen bleach and pour it into a heat preservation cup. Shake it for several times and soak it overnight. The next day, wash it with water. The tea stains will disappear.

7. Use orange powder or orange juice

Put in a small spoon of orange powder or orange juice, fill with water and place for 2-3 hours, so that the tea dirt and tea set lost the adhesion, it is easy to remove.

8. Use potato skin

Cut two or three pieces of potato skin into the heat preservation cup, pour 200 ml boiling water, cover and place for 10 minutes, and then shake it up and down vigorously. You can see that the tea dirt in the heat preservation cup is easily removed. Potatoes contain a lot of starch, which can absorb the tea dirt in the thermos cup.

9. Use coffee grounds

The dregs after drinking coffee can be used to wipe the inner wall of the thermos cup to remove the tea dirt, or directly take the thermos cup to make coffee, which can also remove the tea dirt. Because the activated carbon in coffee has a strong decontamination ability, can absorb fine dirt.
